My fascination with birds continues to build! Today I woke up to the chorus of a little bird singing their little heart out for over 2 hours!!! Although it was the wee hours of the morning that the little guy woke me up...I couldnt help but enjoy the happiness in his voice - it was contageous!!!

Im in a whimsical mood today....dunno why - It's dreary and rainy outside...but Im determined to make it a fun fun day!

Im in the middle of taking dance lessons....Dancing with the Stars kind of dance lessons. It doesnt matter what is happening that day....Dancing instantly uplifts my mood - without drugs!!! Im learning Salsa, West Coast Swing and the TANGO...ooohh la la....

So..I know you're saying...what the heck does this have to do with Friendly Plastic......and the answer is...

NOTHING! It's just a fun story I wanted to share....but I was reminded of how great dancing is when I saw this Ballet Pin made by Pinderella of Etsy! You should really check out her artwork! It's whimsical...happy and fun!!!

Warm thoughts on a COLD DAY! Friendly Plastic by Pinderella

This is a photo that I took a few weeks back while Mariah and I cruised the Mexican Riveria aboard Holland America's Ms. Oosterdam along with our family. While it was only 23 degree's at home....in Mexico it was a WARM 82! This picture was taken in Cabo San Lucas where the Pacific ocean meets the Sea of Cortez! It's simply beautiful and inspiring!

While I was "surfing the web" I went thru my ever growing list of favorite plastic artists and sites. Among them is PINDERELLA's etsy shop. The photo below took me back to this picture of Mexico....a welcome thought on such a cold snowy day like today.

A Cup of tea and a recipe for Friendly Plastic fun!

Care for a cup of tea anyone?

Two things this piece reminds me of: First, sitting in a little cafe' in Chester England with my friend Gill sharing a cup of afternoon tea (with cold milk) as we looked out over the river.

And second: The occassional get together with my girlfriends at our local tea room called Spring Creek.

One thing is for sure, it's always great to get together with friends....

So...why not get together with your friends and have a little creative fun with a friendly plastic - tea party? Now that sounds like a great recipe for fun!!
