Friendly Plastic is gaining popularity all over the world! Check out this recent blog post from SueC who lives in Spain with her husband, children, grandchildren and a couple of furry friends.

Had good fun yesterday trying out the friendly plastic for classes later this week and next.
The atc on the left is the new one I made and the one on the right is the one you have seen before.

Thought this looked like some exotic flower...

...but then again it could be Christmas trees....

These are Inga's pieces...

Sue's work is a mix of her favorite proucts to use and we are glad she chose Friendly Plastic as one of them. Check out more of Sues work on her blog at: http://desiretoinspire-suec.blogspot.com

Wendy’s Art and Craft Calendar Tags – A great Friendly Plastic idea

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Sometimes you just want to give a little something to someone special. The "gift giving" season is now over....or is it? Why not give gifts year round? It's the thought that counts right?
Wendy created these calendar tags for a couple of friends and I think they show how nicely a little bit of friendly plastic compliments the design, adds texture and gives dimension.
.....just a little hint Wendy....um.....can I be on your list too???? hint hint? :o)
What a wonderful suprize to open your mail and one of her designs pop out!

Girlfriends! LETS GO SHOPPING!!! Handmade cards with Friendly Plastic

Saturday, December 26th, 2009
Well here it is....the day after Christmas and that means... SALES!!! What a day to go shopping!!! Mariah and I are heading out to do just that later on this afternoon, but before we go, we took some time to make some fun "GIRLFRIEND" cards with Friendly Plastic dolls. These dolls were a combination of my polymer clay experience and the inspiration I took from Lizzie Dolls by Liz Welch.

In our next FPTV video, I'll show you how to create a snowman card.....that's a little gift in itself! But for now, LETS GO SHOPPING!!! Who's with me???

Gisella uses a lovely mix of media to adorn this card. The handmade paper really sets off the Friendly Plastic topiary focal piece.

Paper doll with friendly plastic headpiece
Paper doll close-up

I am a bit behind with my photo but here it is. :)

I was working on this paper doll so this is my photo of the week.

I made the body of the doll using cardstock as the base and then covered the limbs with different scrapbooking papers.

I really had fun with the headpiece. It is made with different colors of friendly plastic that I melted and sculpted and then added the face piece and other bits. I really like the way it looks and hope you do too.
