Friendly Plastic Feature Artist Barbara Lees

Thursday, April 29th, 2010
It's wonderful to be introduced to talent all around the world. It amazes me to look at all the different places that our readers come from. Places such as France, Hungary, Isreal, Bali, England, Australia, Ireland, Spain, Taiwan...and more.

Today's artist comes from Denmark. Barbara Lees is a multi media artist who works in Friendly Plastic and a variety of other mediums. As I was perusing her website today, I envisioned her work as abstract murals. I know you will enjoy this photo exhibit as much as I did.

Visit Barbara's website for a wonderful art show! www.lees.dk

Friendly Plastic butterfies by Antonia Rozsa

Friday, April 9th, 2010
I think it's so cool that Friendly Plastic is such an international medium.  This piece was created by Rozsa Antonia from Hungary.   Unfortunately, I can not translate her email into english.  But regardless, who needs words to describe her work when a picture says a thousand?

New Boutique items from BijouxArtCreation – Karine Collignon

Thursday, April 8th, 2010
I wanted to highlight this piece by Karine Collignon, a Friendly Plastic artist in France.  What I think is so unique an interesting about her work is her mix of elements.

This pendant is an excellent combination of stamped plastic to texture and "raw" unheated and untreated plastic.  A unique combination that is refreshingly beautiful!

Fantastic!

View more of Karine's work on her website at:  www.bijouxartcreation.com.  She is also on Facebook.

Her blog can be translated using google translate.

Friendly Plastic Steampunk style – combining mixed media

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009
I've just uploaded several designs to Etsy featuring Friendly Plastic and the unique one of a kind steampunk style.

Photobucket

This jewelry really was a work in progress....It wasn't a case of " the good, the bad and the ugly" it was a case of "the ugly, the uglier....the great".... It came about as I turned a flop....into a floppertunity and I absolutely love the result!

Combining my favorite mediums; friendly plastic with metal. Once it started happening, well...I just couldn't stop!

Please stop by my etsy store and check out all my designs...plus pick up some Friendly Plastic pellets too!
